I really like when the sleeves or the shoulders are the focus of interest on a garment. For me it’s like pushing a “instantly rich” button! LOL!
Of course is the huge comeback of the proud shoulder from the 80s, and still from the late 1820s and 1830s. Fashion is a cycle and as my mom use to say: “fashion is a trunk, we follow a certain style and when we’re through with that we save it in the trunk, then, when it’s full, we turn it upside down and start to (re)use that style that once was a fever. For some it may seem brand new”.

In 2010 the trend is still strong. Balmain knows that.
